Why Employees Love Working for Eastlake

Certified Veterinary Technician

I have been working with Eastlake Veterinary Services for a little over 6 months now.  I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and

absolutely love it. I graduated from Bel -Rea institute of animal technology In 2009. I am

married to my best friend and the love of my life and we have a beautiful little girl and a furry one too.

I love my job because no day is ever the same. Each day I am presented with new challenges and situations, which really helps me to stay focused and interested.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Kelsey is originally from

Albuquerque, New Mexico. She came to school and received her bachelors in Biochemistry from CSU in Fort Collins in 2014 - she has been in Colorado even since! In her teens Kelsey spent a portion of her summers working with her aunt, an equestrian vet in Virginia, and worked in emergency and specialty veterinary reception in the past. She is also a painter and shows her work in the Northern Colorado area. When she is not painting, she can be found reading, juggling, doing yoga, or gaming on her PC with her husband, Rush.

I have been a professional pet groomer for 20 years now! I continue to attend grooming seminars and workshops to further build my skill set and grooming education. I am currently working on finishing my masters certification.

Eastlake Veterinary Services has been my second home now for 14 years! I enjoy building relationships with clients, and watching puppies and families grow. I take pride in my work and my professional reputation. I have found something that I am passionate about and I am very blessed.

Receptionist, Kennel Technician

My time at Eastlake has been  very rewarding. I am beyond thankful to see so many clients smiling faces and wagging tails after leaving happy and relaxed from receiving our care.

I am especially thankful for how warm and willing to teach all the doctors are to me. Coming into a field you've always loved without very much experience to be taught with an open mind is wonderful and refreshing from a clinic.

The knowledge alone is enough to make me love my job but all the adorable pets we see are an added bonus

Certified Veterinary Technician

My name is Christina and I have been a Certified Vet Tech for 27 years, 22 of those years at Eastlake Veterinary Services. I enjoy being a tech because it is a job that is always changing and bringing new challenges. I have the opportunity to wear several different hats in one day which is amazing. I am an anesthesiologist, x-ray technician, surgery assistantpharmacist, dental hygienist, and teacher just to name a few.I cannot thing of another job that can offer such a variety.

I have so enjoyed working at Eastlake. Dr. Tracy and Carol are amazing people to work for. The rewards of being in one place for so long is making those lasting friendships with owners and their pets. Of course I have seen the circle of life repeat itself which can be hard but rewarding at the same time. I would encourage anyone that has a love for animals and medicine to consider being a Vet Tech at Eastlake Veterinary Services.
